As Cadbury scholar at Pendle Hill, I interviewed about 100 people about their direct experiences of God. Some people claim those experiences as mystical experiences; others are diagnosed with mental illness. I am interested in trying to understand why reports of the same experience may be seen as a gift for some while others get diagnosed. This book came from those interviews and that exploration.
Dancing with God Through the Storm: Mysticism and Mental Illness will soon be out as an e-book. Print copies can be ordered from the author.
