Exploratory research interviewing about 100 participants about their out-of-the-ordinary experiences of God. Major finding: Whether an experience is considered a mystical experience and acceptable vs originating from mental illness depends much more on the community framing the situation than on the content of the story. It is important for us to move beyond fear and say yes to Love in all of its’ manifestations.
